HSM3 Soundtrack - Review

Hi Leute
Da jetzt so viel von der Premiere in München gepostet wurde, werde ich mal wieder was zum Soundtrack beitragen.
Ein Glücklicher hat bereits eine Kopie vom Soundtrack auf Ebay erworben, eine Kritik geschrieben und Bilder hochgeladen.
Die möchte ich euch natürlich nicht vorenthalten. Übersetzung folgt dann später, da es noch ziemlich früh ist ^^

1. "Now Or Never" (4:33)
Das war der erste Song der vom Soundtrack bzw. Film veröffentlicht wurde und ist ein guter Eröffnungssong. Der Song hat einen guten Beat und einen guten Rythmus. Es ist die Version, die auch bei iTunes veröffentlicht wurde.

2. "Right Here, Right Now" (3:58 )
Der Song startet langsam wie eine Balade mit einem schönen Intro von Zac und geht dann in die Teile über die wir aus den Previews kennen. Vanessa's Solo ist auch gut und enthält ausserdem Hintergrundteile von Zac. Ein schöner Lovesong mit einem Pop Musik-Feeling.

3. "I Want It All" (4:39)
Das ist ein großartiger Song! Es ist auch die gleiche Version wie bei iTunes. Dieser Song scheint nicht länger als "Now Or Never" zu sein, doch er ist es.

4. "Can I Have This Dance" (4:04)
Another great love song. This is good for a couple's "song". You know what I mean? This is also like the iTunes version that was released. Love Zanessa's voices in this one. It seems a little too short, though... but that's a good thing. I love it. I guess this would sort of go with my other favorites of released songs.

5. "A Night to Remember" (3:58 )
The same length as "Right Here, Right Now" and is a good time. I love this song. It is the recently released song. I love the vocals of everybody except Martha's and Kelsi's at some points. Love the beginning when the guys are all "darn!" and then when they get their prom dates they are all hyped up! lol. BTW, according to the booklet, Sharpay and Ryan's dad says "You've been in there an hour man!"

6. "Just Wanna Be With You" (2:38 )
A little too short for this song. It left me wanting more. Ryan starts off the song as Kelsi joins in. It is alot of piano in the beginning and then later, the big instruments start kicking in. Good medleys with all of the performers. Ryan and Kelsi don't have that much in this song. More than half of it is Zanessa. You get a sudden shock when the song gets to the feeling of being over.

7. "The Boys Are Back" (3:47)
The version that was released is definitely not the whole song. This song has a good instrumental intro. Troy does the best job. Chad makes it a little "low pitched". Good music and you can imagine them as little kids when they say "being a superhero", "save the day", etc. This has a good hook saying stuff like "saving the girl", "saving the world", "we... make the rules", etc. I love the lyrics. The music kind of reminds you of "Work This Out" from HSM2 with the bangs and pops, etc.

8. "Walk Away" (3:50)
This is the one EVERYONE is wondering about. The beginning is kind of like a chorus of angels. lol. (Ooo's, and Aaa's) Definitely a tragic love song kind of feel in the song. Parts about emptiness. Honestly, it sounds alot like a church song with that chorus. I though it would be a little more like a blend of "Gotta Go My Own Way" and "When There Was Me and You". She compares herself to "a Cinderella with no shoe and a prince that doesn't know he's lost." The final chorus, according to the booklet, repeats six times. To me, not as good as the other Gabriella ballads. Not even a ballad really. Sorry to dissappoint anyone. I like it, but it's not a favorite.

9. "Scream" (3:56)
The beginning is kick a**. Sounds sort of like a Christian rock kind of song at the beginning. He uses his emotions very well in this song. In the near beginning, there is like a HUGE dum solo that goes crazy!! He sounds really p'd off saying that now he doesn't know what to do without Gabriella. He is "kicking down the walls and making them fall". I can imagine it!! This is better than all of Troy's solos. "Bet On It" is "Fabulous" compared to this!! He says he "can work it out"... IDK. This is one of my faves. I love it alot. He reallty sounds like he wants to scream!! "He wants his own dream so bad, he's gonna scream".

10. "Senior Year Spring Musical" (7:45)
"Last Chance" sounds like a ballad. They say "high school isn't ment to last forever". This is their last chance to being the music back ONE MORE TIME! A little short version of "Last Chance" in this. It then goes straight to "Now Or Never". What we thought was the demo of "Now Or Never" might have been a snippet from this. It sounds ALOT like it. BTW, the new version of "Last Chance" might be sort of like a remix of this. "I Want It All" is not that good with Lucas alone. Sorry, that's all I gotta say. "Just Wanna Be With You" with Sharpay, Jimmie, and Troyella sounds good so far. Sharpay does a good job in this song! She repeats a segment because Jimmie doesn't know the words. lol. Jimmie does a good job, too!! She just sneezes out of nowhere! lmao. Troyella's is just the same as it was on the original version of the song. I am waiting to hear Tiara and Sharpay!... The saved the best for last! The beginning starts off in the middle of "A Night to Remember". Tiara does not have any solo parts. Her accent shows so much! "It's gonna be a 'Nayt'" lol.

11. "We're All in This Together (Graduation Mix)" (4:17)
A little slow just because the original was super faster. lol. A good chorus of kids singing a beloved song. I am gonna cry. Good music in the background. The booklet shows the whole song is at this rate. lol. The guys do a great job where Ryan sang. The girls do a good job as well doing where Sharpay left off. The only concern I have with the the song is the title. It is not really a mix. That's why I call it "Graduation Reprise". It is very good when you get used to it. You can close your eyes and imagine all three movies in this song. I love it. Now I am crying. They are on the last chorus. BTW, there is no Wildcats freestyle like in the original. Love the ending with the long note.

12. "High School Musical" (3:51)
Now... this is the song I have wanted to hear for the whole CD!! "Here we go"! Some parts in that new "full" version were missing from the final version. Good song to end the film with. I love actually reading the lyrics! This song has gone along way since that leaked footage that popped up. There are also no words to describe this song. I am glad to hear Taylor singing. She has not had that much singing and I am glad they put her in. I thought she was left out. Too short... good thing!! I love it. Good ending!! The ending is better! It is sooo unexpected. It has not been heard by any other ears. I won't spoil it, but I will tell you there is a piece of another HSM song. I didn't say WHICH HSM. Good finale. Great to... END... THE... SERIES....
